 BLINDHUNTER

Asymmetric horror multiplayer. One player is blind and hunts through sound. The others must escape without making a noise.

Inspired by Lurking (DigiPen 2013) reimagined for s&box with custom shaders, networked multiplayer, and a real survival loop.

How to Play

The Killer is completely blind. He sees the world only through echolocation every footstep, every breath, every dropped object emits a wave that reveals you for a brief moment.

The Survivors see normally, but make noise. They must:
- Power up the generators
- Find the keycard (random location every match)
- Escape through the exit door

Crouch to stay silent. Throw stones to misdirect. Die quietly or run loud and pray.

-Custom HLSL post-process shader — depth-based edge detection with 3D wave propagation, up to 8 simultaneous echo sources
-Heartbeat HUD — proximity-based looping audio with line-of-sight detection
-Full ambient audio pass — generator hums, footsteps, impacts, doors, deaths
-Multi-step quest system — generators → keycard → exit, randomized each game
-Spectator mode with body cycling for dead survivors
-Host-authoritative networking with full return-to-lobby flow (no rejoin needed between games)
-Unified UI theme — modern, atmospheric, designed for horror immersion

-Generator passive noise — activated generators emit continuous hum, giving the Killer more passive echo sources
-Killer abilities split — `LMB` swing attack / `RMB` pure echolocation pulse
-Ragdoll deaths — bodies persist as immersive playtest feedback
-Random pickable spawner — stones and keycard spawn at unpredictable positions every match
-Settings menu — full volume control with presets
-UI redesign — unified theme across all menus and HUDs
