A (nearly) endless museum generated from Wikipedia, where every door is a link. Race friends across the encyclopedia, or just get lost in it.
Walk through an endless museum built out of Wikipedia, where every door is a link and nobody has seen the room you're about to enter.
Every exhibit is a real article. Its prose goes up on the plaques, its pictures come down from Wikimedia Commons, and its wikilinks become the doors out, up to four hundred of them.
Bring people. Up to 64 visitors share the same building, the same rooms and the same doors, with voice chat, name tags, and a scoreboard showing who's wandered off where.
Features
Museum Daily Race
The same start and finish article for every player on Earth, every day. Race to get the best blind time, and then race for the best overall time after.
Leaderboards
Two walls of gilt-framed portraits on the mezzanine, Monday to Sunday, each one showing that day's fastest visitor. Browse the full boards from the pause menu, filter to friends, or look up a name.
Races
Set a start and a target at the information desk, or roll a random pair, and take a party of visitors through it. Live standings while you run, and a results card afterward showing everyone's route, room by room.
Get properly lost
A per-exhibit mini-map that fills in as you explore, and a search desk that drops you straight into one.
The museum's map is Wikipedia's own link graph, so the connection you expect between two things may simply not exist, and that's usually the interesting part.
