S&box Jailbreak is a remake of the well known Garry’s Mod game mode formerly know as “Prison Break” or “Jailbreak.” For those who haven’t played already, Jailbreak is a team-based role-play game where players are divided into Guards and Prisoners inside a prison. At the start of each round, the Guards are responsible for maintaining order while the Prisoners must follow instructions, participate in minigames, and look for opportunities to rebel, if they wish to do so. One Guard typically becomes the Warden, who leads the round by giving orders and organizing events, mini-games, and challenges for the prisoners, all while making sure the guards don’t get killed by any escaping prisoners. 

While cooperation is often the safest option, prisoners are always free to plan escapes, acquire weapons, and start rebellions against the Guards. Plots to rebel against the guard team can be acted upon at any point in the round, or not at all, if you’re the type who’d rather play it safe. Assuming the guards have kept control of the prisoners and the warden has played enough games so that only one prisoner remains, they receive a Last Request. This allows them to challenge the remaining Guards in a special one-on-one or team-based mini-game for a chance at victory. Every round is different, combining leadership, strategy, mini-games, social interaction, and action into a unique experience.

This s&box remake packs all of the bells and whistles from the original game mode but combines them with the Source 2 engine, making gameplay extremely smooth and providing beautiful graphics.
