How much are you willing to risk for one more haul?

Overreach is a first-person PvE extraction shooter for 1-4 players. Choose your equipment, deploy into infected territory alone or with your squad, and decide how far you can afford to push. Reach extraction to bank your supplies. Die, and your carried gear stays behind.

One more building. One more supply case. One more reason to stay.

Organize pockets, pouches and packs, prepare saved kits, and choose how much gear to risk. Push deeper for better supplies, then survive the journey back. A supply helicopter overhead, a lost crew's beacon or heavy cargo worth carrying home can change your plan. Take the opportunity, or keep what you already have.

Gunfire can clear a path. It can also draw more infected toward you.

Fight quietly with melee weapons, control a crowd with firearms, or buy yourself an opening with Molotovs and pipe bombs. Runners, Brutes, Howlers, Armored infected and Bloaters demand different responses. Gas and radiation make protection and filter supplies another part of your loadout.

Bring supplies home and turn them into your next chance of survival.

Back at the night hangar, turn recovered materials into equipment. Fit suppressors, optics and other attachments at the weapon workbench. Upgrade the helicopter to reach new territory. Permanent levels, skills and unlocked blueprints survive failed expeditions.

Follow a 23-chapter campaign from the Industrial Area into the Forest, its research annex and contaminated underground bunker.

Recover abandoned records, restart machinery and unlock the next route. Deeper territory offers better supplies, but getting back out is part of the challenge.
