- Block Colors - new acquisition system
- Previously all sand colors were just unlocked from the start. Now:
- You begin with 4 base colors per palette (free).
- 3 additional color slots can be purchased with coins (up to 7 colors total per palette).
- More active colors = harder to read the board, but you get a score bonus for it: each color above the base 4 adds +8% score. Running the full 7 colors gives you a solid +24% bonus.
- You can toggle which unlocked colors are active at any time - as long as at least 4 stay active.
- Daily Challenge - leaderboard fix
- Fixed a bug where the Daily Challenge score wasn't resetting properly. If you set a good score and then didn't play for a while (even a full week), you could stay locked in at #1 on the leaderboard the entire time, since your old score never expired or got replaced. Daily Challenge standings now refresh correctly, so the board reflects actual recent play instead of a stale score from days ago.
- Floating score popup - a "+250" (etc.) number now pops up over the board whenever you clear a line, so you don't have to keep glancing up at the score counter.
- Block clear animation - cleared blocks now fade out instead of vanishing instantly, and the animation matches your equipped Clear Effect skin (Sparkle, Confetti, Embers, or the classic white flash for None).
- Reworked the default piece colors using a colorblind-safe palette, so all 7 piece types are easy to tell apart at a glance.
- Fine-tuned two colors on the default theme that were still a bit too close to each other.
- Fixed poor contrast between block colors that made pieces hard to distinguish, especially on the default (Wood) theme.
