We are now live for a little over a week, and with the official release of S&box tomorrow, we thought it is a good time to make a post!

First of all, we want to thank everyone who has played our game, left feedback, reported bugs, etc.
In our opinion, your feedback is the most valuable thing a game developer can have, and it lets us shape the game based on what you want! So again, massive thanks to you guys!
To celebrate the release of S&box, we are holding a contest this week and the winners will get exclusive in-game rewards (vehicles)!

  • Suicide button added (press K), no more getting stuck forever in weird spots

  • Multiple siren varieties so you're not hearing the same loop 500 times

  • The website helps us monitor certain stats like performance, server uptime, etc.
  • We completely overhauled the way we handle player data, we've come up with a system making it so that even when other community members host their own server, all data is now synced with the main server (meaning any server you join, you will have the same "save file")
  • Vignette when the player is low hp
  • Crouching will now not emit any footstep sounds
  • We added a 30 second cooldown between spawning cars
  • Added car smoke when low health
  • Chat bubbles above player heads when typing
  • Added cross-faction missions (available hourly)
🧼 Improved
  • Dying mid-heist? No full paycheck if someone else finishes the job and you didn't re-enter the heist
  • Respawn is now slightly delayed so you can get those last words in before going down
  • You now run faster when you're not holding a weapon
  • Default cop car is now 4 seats (as it should've been)
  • Gallo no longer flips over at the slightest breeze
  • Cop lights improved
  • Feet sticking out of vehicles
  • Cop task completion popup now shows money earned
  • Minimap is now just round instead of both round and square, not some cursed in-between
  • Chat history is now permanent and scrollable
  • Voice chat volume bumped up
  • Footsteps rebalanced, enemy footsteps are now louder than your own/teammates'

  • Fixed crouch not replicating its animation - The crouch animation now correctly replicates to all players
  • Fixed Proxy player invisibility on late-join - Players (particularly Roxy) would appear invisible when clothing sync or avatar data was delayed, especially on dedicated servers. Body visibility (RenderType/Tint) is now updated independently of clothing readiness so unloaded proxies no longer stay invisible
  • Added extra null-safety around BodyRenderer and Dresser checks in the clothing update flow - Prevents potential null-reference errors during avatar dress/undress operations
  • Fixed corpses randomly persisting indefinitely - Entities (corpses) would sometimes remain in the world permanently on long-running servers. They are now properly cleaned up
  • Fixed incorrect seat height on the Hotrod
  • Fixed Starter cars turning too slowly
  • Fixed the Gallo having stiff turning
  • Fixed various bugs with business logic
  • Daily Rewards now work correctly
  • Fixed footsteps being too loud while crouched

🚯 Removed
  • We removed the server offline popup entirely, it was triggereing at the wrong times, and s&box actually already handles this itself (it just kicks you out after timeout)
⚠️ Known Issues
  • We're still not sure why some specific clothing issues are not working, we're still looking into this
  • The gambling scoreboards still seem to be showing the wrong data
