Dead Angle is a top-down shooter built around one idea: you only fight what you can actually see. Your character has a view cone, walls cut it short, and everything outside it goes dark. Roofs and upper floors are sliced away so you can look into a building without the building looking back.
That makes noise the other half of the game. A shot, a reload or a sprint drops a marker on the ground for anyone in earshot, and gunfire carries further than sight reaches. You will know someone is behind that wall long before you see them. Q marks a spot for your team, and a teammate firing blinks on your HUD.
Eight modes are in:
- Deathmatch: free for all, most kills wins
- Team Deathmatch: two teams, one shared score
- Infiltration: one side attacks, the other holds, no respawns
- Economy: attack and hold, but buy your gear every round
- Infected: one turns, the dead join them, outlast the clock
- One in the Chamber: one bullet, every hit kills, every kill reloads
- 1v1 and 2v2, decided over rounds
Seven weapons: AK47, M4A1, Benelli, M700, M1911, Magnum and a bayonet for when you are out of ammo. Hosts pick the starting loadout, or leave the rifles off entirely for a pistol round.
There is a soundtrack, and you can drop your own files into a folder and have them shuffled into the same playlist.
This is a first public build, and it is honest about that. I have played it against bots for days and with other humans almost never, so the multiplayer side is the part I need you for. Bots fill any empty server, so a match is playable alone or with one friend. If something breaks, is unbalanced or just feels wrong, tell me.
