Hello ! New update in Monkey Fortress, let's talk about it !
We've decided to switch teams between each round (rather than just swapping attack/defense roles as before), allowing players to experience both sides of the map.

Back in the early days of Monkey Fortress (for the older players 👴), we had a "showcase round" where players could see each team's spawn area for a few seconds.

We've decided to reimplement it, so now when you start a game, you'll see a short presentation of each team.



Some small changes to bots, including:
  • They can use Team Teleporters
  • They can spawn at Team Respawners
  • They can jump from builds if a path is available
  • Resource Props are now correctly ignored by the Nav Mesh
  • Increased FOV detection

Several fixes and changes :
  • Added fresnel effects to Team Respawner and Team Teleporter Gadgets
Rage Syringe Gadget
  • Fixed vampire logic when used on players
  • No longer kills you while enraged
  • No longer removes the Glider Gadget while enraged
  • Fixed death VFX
Drone / Gatling
  • Reworked vehicle logic and added fresnel effects
  • Drone : gravity is now applied when not being driven
  • Drone : fixed grab (secondary attack)
  • Fixed the Use interface while driving
  • Bots can now shoot at vehicles
  • Updated player UI while driving
  • Fixed damage on explosive props
Post Process
  • Combat PP : reduced the damage effect from small hits
Build
  • Changed default stair rotation
  • Fixed a bug when taking damage
TDM
  • Added a TDM gamemode vote option at the end of the match
    The gamemode has not been fully reworked yet, but it works and is currently playable. It's not being put in the spotlight for now, so if you're reading this, you might be one of the few people who know this feature exists 👀
