POLICE CITY is an open world police game. You are a rookie officer in Brightwater, a city spread across three islands linked by long bridges. Take calls over the radio, chase suspects through the streets, make arrests by the book and work your way up from Cadet to Precinct Chief.

Your career, your shift
Start a new career, pick your officer name and badge number, and keep up to three saved careers. Your rank, experience and upgrades carry over from shift to shift.
Choose where you patrol
Before every shift you pick the station you start from, the island or district you will patrol, the shift length and the time of day. Go out on foot or take a patrol car with lights and siren. Higher ranks unlock the SUV.
18 kinds of calls
The radio never stays quiet. Speeding, drunk drivers, graffiti, street fights, robberies, car thefts, burglaries, drug deals, ATM break-ins, carjackings, wanted plates, gang wars, drive-bys and officers asking for help. Accept a call or spot a crime yourself, and the closer it is to your patrol zone, the more it is worth.
Do it by the book
Stop a suspect and run the check: documents, search, breathalyzer, read the rights. Then decide: let go, warn, fine or arrest. A wrong call costs you experience, so look before you cuff.

Hands up!
Not everyone gives up quietly. Some run, some fight, some pull a gun. Shout an order, use your baton, taser or revolver, put the cuffs on and escort the suspect to your car, or call the wagon to take them in.
Chases that end in flames
Suspects floor it. Follow them with the siren on, call backup, lay spike strips and ram them off the road. Cars take real damage: they smoke, catch fire and finally explode, hurting everyone nearby, so get out in time.
Three islands, fourteen districts
Brightwater Island, Northgate and Ironport, from the beach cafes of Sunset Beach to the docks and the prison. The city map shows calls, suspects and stations, and your patrol zone glows on the map and the minimap.
Day, night and bad weather
Time runs during your shift. Street lights and windows come on at night, rain makes the roads wet and slippery, storms and fog roll in. The city feels different every shift.

Get promoted

At the end of every shift you get a full report: calls handled, fines, arrests and the experience you earned. Climb 10 ranks and spend points on 24 upgrades in four branches: physical training, combat, duty and vehicle. More health and stamina, faster reloads, stronger backup, an armored car that can ram anything.
Grab your badge. Brightwater needs you.
