Trippy, becomes difficult pretty quick.
I found a bug where pressing escape to pause the game and then using the graphical "Resume" button on the overlayed pause screen does not resume the game, and then the game's pause state goes out-of-sync with the actual pause overlay, i.e. you press esc and the pause overlay opens but the game resumes in the background.
It would be cool if the difficulty ramped up a bit more gradually, and if there were more interesting interactions with enemies, or variety of some sort. It might also help if there were some more interesting ways to get your bearings besides just splashing your blood around. Most of my deaths happened right on the edge of a panel boundary where I was trying to figure out where it connected to but got just a tiny bit too close to the edge while trying to get the blood to splatter.
