Sausage Survivors 2 game · 52 Days Ago Shows Promise
Honestly, I wouldn't say this game is actively good. Manual shooting in survivor-likes is pretty annoying to me, and I don't really think it adds anything to them other than an unnecessary obstacle. The difficulty and progression is also annoying to deal with. Normally, I don't think difficulty is too much of an issue in a game if it's done well, even if it's hard enough that I can't complete it. But here, it's really just a struggle to deal with, as you never really feel on par with everything else at any given time. You don't really do enough damage; it takes 2 full magazines just to kill a basic enemy. And the spawn rate ramps up too fast for you to really get any meaningful progress, meaning hordes build up too fast for you to kill them, and it always feels like you're stuck trying to catch up. It also gets really hard to deal with as it goes, because as more enemy types get introduced, you have to balance shooting the special enemies to get their special attacks out of the way, and the horde to generally make preogress,. And if you don't make enough progress, good luck making it any farther. The upgrades are hard to manage also, as you have to balance their buffs, their debuffs, how much it affects the situation you are in right now, what enemies are on the screen, how much xp you can get, what you will get from rng, etc. It feels like trying to juggle 6 balls at once, but you are blindfolded and the shape of the objects you are juggling gets randomised before they hit your hand. It's also hard to get xp, as it takes a long time to kill just 1 enemy, as i mentioned before, and hordes build up really fast, with enemies spawning from pretty much every side. With all of this, it becomes really difficult to pick up anything, as for each enemy killed, 5 more have already spawned and the horde has moved over where the enemy died, meaning you can't really pick it up. Even with bombs, unless you time it perfectly, there is always more enemies to fill the gap created by the bomb before you can pick anything up. All of this combined makes this one of the weirdest designed games i've seen, because i feel like you could fix ANY of the things i mentioned so far, and this would be a much better game. It's still, though, a pretty standard survivor-like. It's unique and has some cool elements, but so far, i CANNOT call this a good game. 5/10.

Definitely fun. The collision can be a bit iffy at times, and the general aesthetic can be improved, but everything else is done pretty good. 7/10
Terry Surfers game · 1 Year Ago Shows Promise
decent but you move too slow to make any fast movement (which is a main subway surfers mechanic)
