Multiplayer is executed poorly, players who join mid-round can be spectating for a very long time. I also had an issue where everyone died (while I was spectating) and the game restarted but I was still spectating for some reason. As it is right now, I'm sure you can just start a new game yourself to bandaid this and actually play the game but it feels bad for people who just want to join a pre-existing lobby with people in it. (Which afterall is the point of having multiplayer.)
