The toybox style spawn menu really sucks, especially for online. A big part of GMod Sandbox was curating your own experience. Here everything just blends together as a generic smorgasbord and meaningful modding beyond props and weapons can barely exist. This level of personalization combined with a server browser is what allowed GMod Sandbox to be so diverse in experience and replayable rather then just a physic showcase.
