It's maybe a little closer to Robotron than it is a Vampire Survivors and that's OK. It's decent fun on the default difficulty. Though I feel like some things could benefit from being toggleable modifiers instead of "curses" (ie: Autoaim, autoscrolling-camera-doesn't-follow-player). Plays well on gamepad, except the options menu doesn't work well with it (The pause menu works fine!), and there's no way to rebind the controls that I'm aware of (By default, dash is on RB/RT, but I'd rather have it on LB/LT so that I can play entirely with one hand after finding an AutoAim item). Overall, this is pretty much the only game on S&box so far that seemed relevant to my interests and I got more than 6 hours of play out of it so it's probably already earned more than ten USD of value from me.
