Grapple Over It game · 6 Months Ago Shows Promise
It is a game like Getting Over It with a grappling hook. The core concept is shown and presented. However, at the current state there are a few things that need to be improved. - If you are too fast, you can pass through solid objects (like the bridge in the begining) and are stuck there, as you cant get out any more. - The objects you can grapple are hard to make out. Visually they look like every other object. Only the line prediction turns blue, if you can grapple the object. - The camera is a bit janky and something displays objects in the foreground. - You can not see the cool down of the grappling hook which ruins the possible flow Overall the core gameplay is quite nice and with a few revisions the game might actually be quite good.

The game play is fast paced and fun. Reminds me of CoD and the gun feedback is quite nice. A neutral point is that the game has bots which can be added to poplulate servers. While this is great to always have some enemies to face, the bots are a bit so technical. They do not behave like normal players, instead they do a 180 and kill you without a delay. If you are on a server with only bots, you'll notice that really quick. If the bots are tuned down a bit by giving them a delay before they act, giving them a field of view so that they dont do 180s out of no where they'd be way more fun to play against. All in all the game offers multiple weapons and upgrades for these weapons which adds some progression to the game play. Furthermore, different game modes and maps provide more variety to the game itself. I see myself playing this with friends for some inhouse games.
