Saidera

WIP — Saidera is still in active development. Expect changes, improvements, and a few things behind the counter to occasionally catch fire.

One more round. Just one. Probably.

Saidera
is a chaotic online co-op game for 1–4 players where you run a small Brazilian corner bar. Serve cold drinks, grill skewers, keep customers happy, manage your stock, and survive increasingly hectic days without letting the whole place fall apart.

Saidera was created for S&box Game Jam III, with the theme One More Round.

In Brazil, a saideira is supposed to be the last drink before leaving — that final beer you order before heading home.

Supposed to be.

Because the saideira often becomes another beer. Then another round. Then somehow everyone is still at the bar an hour later.

That is the spirit behind the game: there is always one more round to serve, one more customer arriving, and one more day to survive.

Run the bar

  • Customers arrive with orders that can include drinks, grilled food, or both.

  • Grab beer, soda, and water from the fridges, prepare Brazilian-style skewers on the grill, and deliver everything before your customers lose their patience.

  • Food takes time to cook.

  • Leave it too long and it burns.

  • Grab something too early and its quality starts dropping while you run around the bar.

  • And while you are dealing with one table, several more customers may already be waiting.

Play solo or with friends

Saidera supports 1–4 players online.
Split the work however you want:
  • Take care of the grill.

  • Keep the fridges stocked.

  • Deliver orders.

  • Manage the next wave of customers.

  • Or run around in complete panic while blaming your friends.

  • The game scales the customer flow with the number of players, so bringing more people into the bar also brings more chaos.

Survive day after day

Your goal is simple:

Keep the bar open for as many days as possible and make as much money as you can.

Each day brings new waves of customers, larger orders, and increasing pressure.

At night, the bar becomes slightly quieter, giving you time to:

  • Finish serving customers still inside.

  • Restock drinks and ingredients.

  • Receive deliveries.

  • Buy upgrades.

  • Prepare for the next day.

  • Spend carefully. Money used on stock cannot be used on expansion, and the wrong investment can make the next shift much harder.

Expand your operation

Use your earnings to improve the bar.
Add more:

  • Grills to increase cooking capacity.

  • Food storage to handle larger waves.

  • Stock to keep the operation moving during peak hours.

  • Your bar becomes more efficient as the run continues. Unfortunately, so does the customer pressure.

Keep everyone happy

  • Customer satisfaction is shared across the entire bar.

  • Fast, high-quality orders improve it.

  • Late orders, bad food, burned skewers, and unhappy customers drag it down.

  • Let satisfaction reach zero and your run is in serious danger.

  • The challenge is not just serving everyone — it is deciding what needs your attention right now.

The Saideira

  • Some customers may ask for a saideira after finishing their order: one last drink before they leave.

  • Serving it can help keep the bar happy.

  • Ignoring it may make things worse.

  • And sometimes that last drink feels suspiciously like the beginning of another round.
