The Town Fights Back: police, SWAT and the army

The bigger your horde gets, the harder the town fights back. Police cars, SWAT vans and army trucks now roll in to stop you, and new humans no longer walk straight into the horde.

A player on Reddit said the late game got too easy: once your horde hits a couple of hundred zombies, every human gets eaten the moment they step outside. Fair. So the town called for backup. Thanks to Cookin_Kunkka for the idea!

🚨 The town fights back

  • Police: past 60 zombies, a squad car pulls up and the officers get out shooting.
  • SWAT: past 150, a SWAT van brings riot police in body armour.
  • The army: past 250, a truck drops off soldiers and a flamethrower.
They drive in by road, park where there's room and move up on your horde together. They get tougher as your zombies do, and the bigger your horde, the more of them come. Every one you turn is worth triple brains.

🧟 How to deal with them

Raise zombies right on top of a squad, drop a Rot Comet on them, or howl and swarm them before they get many shots off.

🚪 No more door camping

New humans now come out of the door with the fewest zombies waiting outside, so a big horde can't just sit on every doorway.

Let me know if it's hard enough now. Happy Halloween! 🎃
