It Had To Be Done

A lot of great progress has been made these past two weeks! We're up to ten levels, a robust leaderboard, and a shocking number of players already.

However, catastrophe struck when I tried a new approach to timing levels using a fancy datatype called RealtimeSince - unfortunately, when players' local clocks are out of sync, that causes the value of that datatype to get out of sync with expectations, and suddenly the best time on Level 3 was negative 10 seconds. Oops.

So, I ended up nuking the leaderboards. Doing so was hacky because there's no official s&box feature to do that yet, but we got there in the end. Hopefully this is the last time I have to do that.

From here, ten more levels (for a total of twenty) and hopefully a way to earn currency by playing that lets you pull a little bouncy ball machine for skins, should round out what has been a blast of a jam project. Here's hoping we stick the landing!
