Bankroll is out!

It's live! Flick cash, buy businesses and build your credit, from a cardboard box in the alley all the way to the Vault.

Bankroll: Rags to Riches is live on s&box, and I'm a little nervous and a lot excited.

Here's the pitch. You live in a cardboard box. You've got a lantern, a rat for a roommate and a credit score of 300. Money is easy. Credit is hard. Nobody rents to a 300.

So you swipe.
Everything in Bankroll starts with one move. Hold the mouse and flick the top bill off the stack. It bends like paper, flies off, and the counter flips. Green bills pay x1, gold pays x25. Keep a streak going and every bill pays more, and you'll hear it climbing.

I tuned that swipe more than anything else in the game. If it doesn't feel good in the first ten seconds, tell me, because then I got it wrong.
Then you spend it. Twenty businesses, from Bottle Recycling and a Shoe Shine stand up to an Airline and a Space Program. Own enough of one and its income doubles. It all lives on the phone in your hand: Swipr for fatter bills, Hustlr for businesses, Boostr for deals and advisers, Rentr for your next place.
"Money's easy, hon. Credit's hard."

That's Rentr, your letting agent, and Rentr is not wrong. Every & you earn pushes your credit score up the real 300 to 850 scale. Hit the next landlord's number, bring a reference from your last one, and sign the lease.
Signing costs you. The cash, the upgrades and the businesses all stay behind, and your score drops back to just over what the landlord asked. What you get is a better address where everything pays more, and your swipe ranks come with you for good.

A box in the alley. A basement flat. A studio over the laundromat. A loft. A house in the suburbs. A penthouse. Every one is a hand-painted 3D set with its own music, from lo-fi in the alley to brass in the Vault.
And at the very top, the Vault.
Your home fills up as you get richer. Cash and a mug at first. Then a TV, a record player, a gold balloon dog (you'll see). Then pallets of cash, gold bars, and in the end a mound of money so big you'll want a shovel.
Now and then a battered briefcase turns up. Grab it before it walks off: a Windfall of cash, a Frenzy where every bill pays x7, Rush Hour for your businesses, or a Gold Run of ten gold bills in a row.
There are 35 achievements too, from Cash Talks for your very first bill to Rags to Riches for making it to the Vault. A few are secret. Click around, and say hi to the rat.
This is 1.0, not the finish line. I have a few ideas, but I'd rather hear yours:  what felt slow, where you got stuck, how fast you made it to the Vault. Tell me on Discord, in a review or on the forum.

If you like Bankroll, a thumbs up or a review helps more than you'd think.

Thanks for playing.
