Right, jumped up a few versions.

A lot of things to cover here, but few things. I have too good of a PC to actually test optimisation properly and as this is my first proper game ever released its hard for me. I honestly thought it was optimised as the SteamDeck can play my game at 60fps though has a few drops, which is why I completely overlooked the Vsync issue people seem to have.

Turn VSync off and try my game again please. I have tried my best to optimise much more in this patch in a lot of ways. So things may be broken as there wasn't too much testing done other than what I personally thought I should test (1 person testing the changes they made. As a past Test Analyst, that is not a good way to test lmao).

So please turn it off and try it again. 60fps to me feels so laggy, as I've got a 360hz monitor and get around 500-800fps (Ingame vs Main Menu fps there, thats why its a big gap), and honestly no matter what I've tried, i can't seem to make 60hz / 60fps feel...good. I haven't got spare hardware to test on at all.

Right, few more things added. I've added a quick "Minecraft Text" to the main menu, next to the logo. Just like the yellow text in Minecraft or Terraria, its just lil stuff to display every time you launch the game. Either saying new patch stuff, or addressing some....reviews.

Guys, your reviews on "Buggy", "Errors", "Unoptimised". Does NOT help me unless you specify your computer specs, what "Bugs" you encountered or what "Errors" are displayed.

NO errors have been logged since release and it even says 0% error, so genuinely I cannot make an update if YOU do not SPECIFY. I cannot optimise, if you do not tell me your system specs, I cannot address anything to make the game feel better for YOU or NEW players.

Few more things to note;
Yes some drugs are very negative and may not seem worth while to take. That is by design. If you take every single drug you come across, most stats even out in positive and negatives. The whole point of a drug in my game, is that it is a DOWNSIDE, that's the point. IRL its bad for you, its bad for you in this game, its just the point to make the game more difficult, for you to get a higher score.

Though thank you to some people who gave genuine reviews and even specified what they thought was positive and negative and also adding why. It has actually helped me shape the game up further.

TLDR:

  • I added a brightness slider in the in-game options (It will not brighten the darkness, only the light sources, thats by design)
  • Enemy Footsteps, as some complained they don't hear the enemies, fair point. Though its the same as the players footsteps but louder;)
  • "Connecting..." added to results screen due to people being confused why they cannot retry. I didn't explain to the player properly...
  • Reduced file size..hopefully:)
