I’ve been dreaming about this one for a long time. Dead Blocks is my first game and my first release, and as of today, testing has officially started.
If you haven’t seen it yet: Dead Blocks is a blocky zombie survival game for 1–6 players in online co-op. You’re trapped in a walled city block at night, and the horde keeps coming, wave after wave. Chain your kills to unlock new weapons and upgrades, put up walls and traps, and survive the Abomination every fifth wave. When you finally fall, your run goes up on the global leaderboard.
What testing means
This is an early version, so you’ll probably run into rough edges. That’s exactly what this phase is for. Every match you play helps me find what feels great and what needs work.
If something breaks or feels off, hit Report Bug in the pause menu. It sends what happened straight to me.
What’s coming
This is just the start. I’m already working on a bunch of improvements to the gameplay, plus new additions to round Dead Blocks out into the full game I’ve been picturing. I’ll keep posting here as updates land.
Thank you
To everyone who jumps in, plays a few waves and tells me what they think: thank you. It means more than you know.
See you on the block.
