Make it to the top of the corporate ladder, or leave school with a diploma and not much else. Every year, the choice is yours.
It starts the moment you're born. Pick your era, 1985 or today, your country, your name, and a trait you'll carry from your first breath, such as brave, cunning, honest, or curious. No two lives begin the same.
Every year throws something at you. A friend holds out a cigarette. A wallet sits on the pavement, fat with cash. The schoolyard bully wants what's in your pockets. You choose, and the choice sticks, and some options are only ever open to the kind of person you are. The brave stand their ground. The cunning talk their way out of trouble.
Go to school. See it through or sit it out, and decide whether university is worth your time. Build skills, earn the qualifications that get you hired, then work the job board for a role that'll have you. Land it and climb. Team Leader, Manager, Director, all the way up. When a promotion lands on your desk, will you take it or turn it down?
Meet a new family every game, parents, siblings, the friends you make along the way, and the first crush you never quite forget. Will you run into them again, years later? Watch the money come in, and the bills stack up. Pass your driving test. Fall out with people, or put things right.
Then live, until you don't, and read the obituary your choices wrote.
Lives. One year at a time, from your first breath to your last.
