S&box And Steam Machine.

Garry has mentioned that he wishes for as many as possible to get access to S&box, once it is released, without resorting to going free-to-play, since that would open the floodgates to many issues.

 If we make the assumption that S&box will hit 1.0 before the Steam Machine hits the shelves, what would be the pros and cons of a possible deal with Valve to bundle the game with the Steam Machine? 

There would only be pros for the developers as that would ensure a steady playerbase as long as the Steam Machine doesn't fail.
The only cons would be whatever Valve asks in return, maybe an extra share of all revenues like they did in Gmod?

There is absolutely no way that S&box is bundled with the Steam Machine. It's a controller first device, S&box is a Keyboard/Mouse first game.

I'm sure in the future there will be many awesome controller supported S&box games though.

Edit: Also I have a feeling another game will be stealing the hype. ;)

SteamOS support for S&Box would be awesome tbh. When FP focuses on proton fixes instead of in-engine fixes, we will be in a better state overall for gaming with S&Box on Steam Machines.
