Moscart_BINARY SELECTION game · Today Shows Promise
Chill vibe, models and UI also look good. But what even is going on lol. Instantly thrown in and it's just information overload, so I walk into the first room and instantly swarmed by blue slimes. Touching anything will ragdoll you, even walking around on the slime's trail ragdolls you, but the room is covered by it. The blue slimes just insantly swarm you before you can even shoot them, why are they so god damn fast they basically teleport, and then you can't do anything. The aiming is also very lackluster, especially in third person, most of the time my shots just went through the ground. It was better to play in top down view since it would at least attempt to autoaim for you, but even then I'd find my shots stick to the upper floors or whatever was below the camera.

Last Round game · Today Shows Promise
Once we got a few players in, the game started to get fun. Custom models and maps are always good to see, although the characters I'm not sure what the differences are since you can pick your loadout. The second map, the one with the cars and crates, hasn't been playtested it feels like. There's many spots you can't fit through, including most doorways unless you crouch! All the movement tech is thrown out of the window due to how little walls there are or how much crap is in the way. The first map, the one in the desert, is perfect for this game though. The jump pack logic is weird, I wish it showed an arch of where I'll land, and most of the time it clips me through walls and makes me fall through the map. Portals also either work or not, sometimes they z-fight, other times they don't let anyone in, and in general they are very laggy to be around. Bots are wayyy too strong even when set to 10% skill level, they just have aimbot! Excluding the people that actually did have aimbot, there's already cheaters. Melee is also weird, they knew it was overpowered so they added like a 5 seconds cooldown between every swing, but it's annoying how if you're playing melee it instantly switches to your main weapon after you get a kill.

Finally a classic tower defense. UI is confusing and graphics are pretty grayish. Took me a while to find the map function.

One More Exhibit game · Today Recommended
Fun little experience, unique but short gameplay loop. I wish we could actually have a stage where we see the visitors and perhaps expand the gameplay loop. Perhaps make that phase into one to purchase upgrades? This way visitors count actually serves for something. The controls are weird once you get in, your direction follows the camera but not completely, so mouse to look is pretty useless since it's only used in the intro sequence. Some traps are redundant, like the tiles trap which can just be treated as a jump trap and you're safe, or the falling rocks trap which you can't go over when running back since the rocks that previously fell block you from going under. Would like to see more, maybe even more types of dungeons? Like one where you're digging up dino bones, idk! Unfortunately I can't nominate, the theme adherence is just too weak. "One More Round" does not fit this game

Pooners game · Today Shows Promise
Very original concept, the UI is also cool and interactive, haven't seen anything like it. Controls are easy to understand and master, perhaps unrealistic rope swinging but necessary for a fast paced pvp. Using the harpoons themselves as a weapon is extremely hard, and the fact that it takes 2 or 3 shots to kill someone is just too much. Every battle ends up being just a "face each other and wiggle around hoping your poon hits the enemy", and despite the good controls it becomes hard to track your pooner status as by hitting them it's instantly reset, otherwise you have to reel it back in so you can't know if you have to tap or recharge sometimes. It would be great if there was a secondary weapon, bound to RIGHT CLICK (Move jetpack to middle click) that is a melee hitscan with generous range and make pooners instakilled as a reward. That would encourage people to more around more, imagine hitting someone with your melee while they're swinging or punishing someone for standing still by instapooning it. Will retry after some updates
