- Public leaderboard for private games: when no official server is available, your score is saved to your Steam account and ranked on a global public leaderboard.
- Daily roulette in private games: your daily spin is now remembered across sessions and servers.
- Your score now carries over between private sessions.
- Leaderboard and rank update instantly when you earn points.
- Tide: zombie waves are 50% smaller (3 zombies on the first wave, +2 per wave).
- Zombie sounds now properly follow each zombie.
- Leaderboard screen not refreshing after a game.
- Tide: zombies spawning on rooftops and on top of walls instead of inside the playable area.
- Zombie growls and attack sounds continuing after the zombie died.
- Leaderboard could highlight the wrong lines as yours while your profile was loading.
- Developer test commands and test data.
- A player outside the top of the public leaderboard sees their rank update only after the next refresh (up to ~1–2 min).
Private lobbies are now playable. You no longer need to join an official server: create a private lobby with your friends and play the full game. Your points and your One More Game streak are kept for as long as the server is running, and you get them back if you leave and come back.
Four new languages: German, Polish, Portuguese and Russian — the whole game is translated, on par with English, French and Spanish.
Leaderboard and Roulette tabs only show up where they make sense. On official servers they're there as usual; in a private lobby they're simply hidden instead of showing an empty screen.
Empty Cage: the cages are taller and behave better physically.
Precipitate: the laboratory has been cleaned up and reworked.
Game not loading after the latest engine update — the Warehouse map was broken by the new engine version and has been repaired.
Empty leaderboard on first connection: the first player to join a server could see a blank leaderboard until a game had been played. It now shows up correctly right away.
Flickering tabs: the Leaderboard and Roulette tabs could appear for a few seconds and then vanish when hosting a private lobby.
Ready-up and game launch are now refused when the server has temporarily lost its connection to the leaderboard, so nobody starts a game whose results would be lost.
The "Game not available in private lobby" screen — it's gone for good.
In a private lobby, nothing survives a server restart: points, streaks and stats are lost when the lobby closes. This is by design.
No leaderboard, no roulette and no game history in private lobbies — these only exist on official servers.
The four new languages haven't been proofread screen by screen yet; some wording may look off. Reports welcome.
