Achievements
  • 47 Steam achievements – for smashing, earning, exploring and playing with friends

  • Achievements in the Escape menu – see every achievement, your progress and your points

Homes
  • Home signs – every home plot has a small wooden sign with the owner's avatar and name

  • Home signs show where the owner is right now – at home, visiting a neighbor, or away in a district

  • Other players' homes now show on the world map

Building
  • First-person build hands – you hold the block or item you're building with, and it swings when you place or break

  • Empty hotbar slots are now a bare hand

  • Real-block preview – the build preview shows the actual block you're about to place

Power-ups
  • The Annihilator – a new ultra-rare violet orbital laser

Tools
  • Melee swings arc in from the shoulder and land on the crosshair, with no pause on impact

  • Hold attack to chain melee swings into combos

UI
  • Grapple hook controls in the control legend

  • The game version is shown on the main menu and under the control legend

Power-ups
  • The Leveler hits twice as hard and fires two nukes before reloading

  • Orbital laser visuals – a glowing beam with an impact flash, sparks, plasma and smoke, and its own satellite icon

  • Orbital Laser – burns a narrower hole more slowly but hits harder, deals steady damage on ground, walls and roof edges, and is now as rare as the gunship and tornado

  • AC-130 – the 25mm and 40mm cannons hit smaller areas so it no longer clears whole districts, the 40mm hits a little harder, and the 105mm reloads half as fast

Fixed

6 changes
Power-ups
  • The AC-130 can be called in from underground or under a roof

  • Orbital laser beams no longer end in a hard line at their sides

Tools
  • The grapple hook is held like the other handheld tools

  • Two-handed tools no longer jitter mid-swing

World
  • Travelling to a district from the map turns you to face it

  • Posts, fences and stairs cast a soft shadow right at their base instead of a dark patch a block away
