Genuinely one of the best games on the platform, and it's ended up taking up most of my time on s&box! It runs surprisingly well considering how much is usually going on, and it's very addictive. Imagine if Teardown and Minecraft had a baby... that also happened to have AC-130s. The developer is also a genuinely great guy who listens to the community and actively seeks out feedback, which is always an amazing plus. The game gets regular updates that continue to improve it, and it already feels like one of the most polished and complete games on the platform. Definitely recommend giving it a try and can't wait to see what comes of it in the coming months!

While not the most original genre, this is a pretty polished take on a mining game, atmosphere is really nice with the rain ambience, nice feel on the movement and handling. The rampage ability caught me off guard with the airstrike tho good one lol

Multiplayer does not feature co-op, though the people playing the game are usually nice. Generative AI was used in the creation of this game's assets, potentially also being used for the coding itself.

**Full disclosure:** I've had the pleasure of working with Dan on Rubble, primarily creating textures for the project. He's a fantastic person to collaborate with, and I hope we continue working together for years to come! That said, I want this review to reflect the game on its own merits, independently of our working relationship. **As for the game itself, it's bloody brilliant!** Rubble combines satisfying voxel destruction with an addictive progression loop. There's something incredibly rewarding about tearing environments apart, earning upgrades and unlocking even more ways to cause chaos. The tycoon mechanics give the destruction a purpose beyond the spectacle, keeping the experience engaging rather than repetitive. Performance is another standout. Considering the extent of the destruction happening, the optimisation is genuinely impressive. *Chef's kiss!* 🤌 There are still some rough edges, as to be expected from a game of this scope made by a solo dev. Certain shaders don't quite represent their underlying materials convincingly, and the UI occasionally misses clicks when switching category tabs. Neither significantly detracts from the experience, but they're worth improving. For a game still in early development, Rubble is already one of the best experiences I've had on S&box. With Dan actively pushing updates and ambitious features like Creative Mode on the roadmap, its future looks incredibly promising. **Rubble is a fantastic example of what S&box is capable of, and a benchmark I'd love to see other developers aspire to.**

Not a fan of the AI text being used eeeverywhere (claudespeak) which implies AI coding. That stuff is offputting enough to not make me interested in exploring whatever is innovative in this game, which at first glance seems to be just combining elements of minecraft and teardown into something superficially appealing.

Like the gameplay, kept me playing for a while ! Do think the visuals can use more care, this game looks like minecraft in 2008 :P Also ults are really fun to get, i just want more and bigger ways of destroying the world ! The decision of having each"minecraft" voxel actually being 4x4x4 cubes gives the destruction such a nice feeling of depth...

This game is really cool, destruction is fun and the gameplay loop is nice so far. the only issue was that that the tutorial's pacing is a bit strange, feels like too much at once. I can see that making people leave, also the starting area is a bit weird in terms of where you can/can't break. I feel a game like this should be a bit more freeing rather than awkwardly having a grass staircase to the area you're allowed to break things in

Very fun! Progression is paced well and each milestone feels impactful. UI is well laid out, not confusing, and self explanitory. Base building is a fun addition to the game that wasn't required, but fits nicely into the gameplay loop. Has an intro quest that gets you into the feel for the game, but then stops holding your hand after all systems are introduced and lets the player progress on their own. The rampage system that rewards a random boon is very addictive, I found myself mining more just to see what rampage reward I would recive when my bar filled. The Developer is pushing out updates and hotfixes constantly (twice during my first hour-long play session), and was in my lobby asking for player feedback and bug notes! Overall a very fun and positive experience on this platform. -ChrisOS
