- Six new upgrades that only unlock by Surging, so a new era opens with something you have never had access to before rather than the same tree again.
- Residual Charge, Muscle Memory and Second Sun - permanent Cores upgrades unlocked at 1, 2 and 3 Surges, covering critical damage, combo grace and a global multiplier.
- Echo Chamber, Flux Saturation and Origin Recall - Energy upgrades unlocked at 1, 2 and 3 Surges, available from the very first run of a new era.
- The Rebirth panel now previews permanent upgrades you have not unlocked yet, showing what they need instead of hiding them completely.
- Bulk buy no longer offers more levels than it can actually deliver when an upgrade is close to its cap.

- The top bar could push content off the edge of the screen on smaller windows now that it carries a fourth currency.
- The Surge confirmation ran its sentences together instead of reading as separate paragraphs.
- Hardened the game against malformed network messages in multiplayer.
- Selecting MAX and then maxing out an upgrade that has a level cap can briefly stretch that upgrade's card downwards. Cosmetic only, and still being investigated.
- Multiplayer works but has had very little testing with real players.
- Global rankings may take a few minutes to reflect a brand new record run.
