- Trials — a new tab of restricted runs, each with a permanent reward. Entering one wipes your current run and takes a tool away from you; finishing it raises your power for good.
- Bare Hands — reach 1 million Energy without building a single machine. Reward: +25% click Energy, forever.
- Unimproved — reach 5 million with no upgrades at all. Reward: +25% machine output, forever.
- Standing Start — a full million in five minutes flat. Reward: +15% to everything, forever.
- Ascetic — no machines, no upgrades, nothing but the core. Reward: +50% click Energy, forever.
- The Long Way — a billion Energy by hand. Reward: +40% to everything, forever.
- Overcharge — a button under the core that doubles your click Energy for 30 seconds, once every five minutes. Save it for a hot combo and it is worth far more than firing it the moment it lights up.
- Dormant Current and Deep Hibernation — two Surge Shop upgrades for players who leave the game running, raising what offline time pays and how long it keeps counting.
- Rebirth milestone cards now show exactly how many qualifying Rebirths you have, what each one needs to be worth, and whether the run you are on right now is big enough to count.
- The Statistics panel now tracks your best single Rebirth.
- Rebirth milestones could be completed by repeatedly resetting cheap runs. A Rebirth now only counts toward a milestone if that Rebirth itself earns enough Cores, so small resets count toward nothing. Progress toward milestones you have not claimed yet starts fresh under the new rule — anything already earned is untouched.
- Tab labels were wrapping their last letter onto a second line now that there are ten tabs. The panel is wider and the labels fit.
- Selecting MAX and then maxing out an upgrade that has a level cap can briefly stretch that upgrade's card downwards. Cosmetic only, and still being investigated.
- Multiplayer works but has had very little testing with real players.
- Global rankings may take a few minutes to reflect a brand new record run.
