Find the street you live on, buy apartments, shops, offices and workshops, and rent them out. Buy every unit in a building and add more storeys. The world is persistent. Your company and properties carry over between sessions, and a good address may already belong to somebody else.

Property

  • You buy individual units: apartments, shops, offices and workshops. You can also buy all available units in a building together.
  • Rent and occupancy follow city size, location, condition and how saturated the local market already is. Vacancy eats your rent.
  • Repair your properties to protect their value and rental income. Own the entire building to add floors and new units.
  • Offer a unit to another player for a rent per minute. Either side can end the lease.
  • From company level 3, buildings beyond your allowance of five per city need management offices or decay twice as fast. Offices slow deterioration and reduce repair costs.

Land, production, trade

  • Buy farmland, meadow, forest, vineyard or quarry and choose what it yields. 13 raw goods, from wheat and timber to clay, ore and fish.
  • Found one of 31 businesses in a suitable unit you own or rent: mill, sawmill, brickworks, dairy, brewery, steelworks, tailor, print shop, restaurant, supermarket, hotel and more.
  • Buy fixtures that take up floor space and pay you back in pace, workplaces, selling prices or loading capacity. Need more room, buy another unit in the same building.
  • Connect production chains to make premium goods: gift hampers, machinery, prefab houses and cars. Premium production opens at company level 4, with car plants at level 5.
  • Sell on the commodity exchange with a live order book, recent fills, price history and a watchlist, or deliver into city markets that consume goods by real population.
  • Fulfil delivery contracts or arrange standing deals with other companies. Goods stay at their production or storage site until you move them.

Logistics

  • Ship a single load at a quoted price, or buy trucks, freight trains and barges and run scheduled routes with their own interval and a reserve at the origin.
  • Set destination stock limits, wait for full loads or run collection tours. From company level 6, several vehicles can share a route, each following its own schedule.
  • Stations and ports work as hubs. Set your own tariff, or close them for orders. Freight forwarders carry goods within their service area.
  • Droughts affect harvests, while floods, roadworks and rail strikes can disrupt routes and hubs.

Company, city, rivals

  • Fifteen company levels, from sole trader to Legacy. They unlock renting out, auctions, rail, research, standing deals and shares, and raise your credit line. Later levels expand fleet, route and contract limits.
  • Research six branches: Agriculture, Industry, Logistics, Trade, Property and Corporate. Some choices rule out alternatives, and higher company levels open deeper research.
  • Set wage levels, buy shares in rival firms and take control.
  • Trade licences per city are limited by population. If every slot is taken, challenge a holder and the slot goes to auction.
  • Run for mayor, one vote per property. The mayor sets the city tax and spends the treasury on market days, roads or housing.
  • Boom, steady and recession move prices, rents, demand and interest for everyone.
  • AI firms buy, produce, trade and bid against you, in the same cities.
  • Borrow to expand, but keep up with your debts. Loan default can put your properties into foreclosure auctions.

What this is not

There is no avatar and no walking. You see the world through a camera that goes from street level up to a full globe. You cannot place new buildings or demolish existing ones, but you can add storeys to buildings you fully own. The world is the OSM world, you buy into it.
