Never played Legacy but I'm sure it's faithful.
Player feels slightly smaller and slightly more zoomed in that original legacy. Animal are missing textures close up. But its very very close to the original. Good work
best mode in S&box
the game is great but i face a graphic essue's in night like some edges start glowing with bright light
i never play rust so i don't know if this game is a good legacy version of rust but i love it !!!the only probleme for me is the spawn of the entities, that't really random

Nostalgic
Has 99% of what made legacy what it was - Needs some work, AI spawn in sode weird spots, crates spawn abit randomly ,Radzones seem abit off center and loot rooms need work to where loot spawns in them.
Would love the see the AI expanded abit, they're already pretty intelligent impressively so. Would be cool if they could raid bases, put up their own even. A setting to modify how many of specific types of AI appear would be nice, as Kevlar AI appear quite frequently making it relatively simple to get kevlar researched super early on.
The developer is actively working on this Rust recreation. Just for that reason alone I recommend it.
A fantastic recreation! The crafting UI hangs off the right of the Steam Deck, but that's not too bad of a fix! Now that Terry is dying it would be cool if there was an option to use your s&box character!

This looks feels and plays great. Can't wait to see what they do next.
It looks good and very consistent with the original!, i just didn't find any dedicated servers to play, kind of weird that you play rust for the persistence and progression but there's no dedicated servers to save that progression, also it's very unoptimized for the visuals, it shouldn't be this unoptimized for this old of a game
Had a few major frame drops and glitches such as lighting issues and the attacking animation playing after exiting third person but overall is a really fun and faithful experience.
