The game has a ton of promise to be one of the better games on S&Box. There are still issues here and there however they have a dedicated Developer team that does updates every single day. They listen heavily to player feedback and work with the players. They have a long vision have have development planned for many months. Yes it is based/extremely similar to another game however it has its own unique quirks to it as well. I have spent many hours in it just to make maps and beat my own records. Lots of replayability and everyone is super friendly! I do highly recommend you playing it, if you are new I really recommend you start with the Official Maps!
