Really cool game guys.
Great menu, music, a strong first impression on the main screen — and then it turns out the game is boring, poorly optimized, and the gameplay itself feels incredibly dated, like something from the last century.
Extremely bad performance; confusing and repetitive map with no in game map; compass that is hard to read and hides the thing you are looking at directly; weird control scheme (why do i have to press N to give money to a beggar? It is the only possible thing i"d want to do while looking at one. Just make it E.); confusing and overwhelming UI; how is this game running at 30 fps???
The game itself is fun. The main menu is super high quality. But the gameplay itself isnt that much

Its fun but buggy and needs optimization, and I was going to nominate it until people pointed out that this game was made 2 months before the game jam which is against the game jam rules

I recommend giving this game a try. It has a great concept and is fun to play (especially in multiplayer). I hope we won't have to wait too long for new patches.

When doing the extraction, if I picked up too many things to steal, it would be nice with some feedback that my inventory was full.

just downloaded because the artwork is so good then actually enjoyed the gameplay as well. good game, i need to get better at it tho
The game feels promising enough for now. I think it could be optimized a little better and maybe get a bit more dynamic, since some of the modes feel a bit repetitive, but still fun to play.
The game lacks weapons, that for sure, a club or something for camp mode, overall alright

Needs more polish but the gameplay is fun!
First off, the Art is fantastic!
However, the UI is confusing when the round begins.
It shows where I am supposed to protect but without highlighting the actual Gold bag. I can build fences around the UI indicator and then unintentionally leave my stash completely unprotected. The actual bag should be flashing or something.
Next, nobody cares about the Splash logo and I should not have to see it an additional time when attempting to quit the game.
I think this could be great. It just needs a little QoL cleaning.

The game is really good, and I genuinely enjoyed it. I think it has a lot of potential for future updates. There are plenty of ways to expand the variety of buildings and units in the gold wagon defense mode — for example, adding different weapons, traps, more enemy types, and additional buffs for the main character. There’s definitely a lot of potential here, so I’m looking forward to seeing some great updates in the future.
I’d also like to see more throwable rocks scattered around the map. That’s just a personal preference, though — my casual gamer hands are struggling to keep up! 😄
The mode where you have to steal the gold is also really well done. I haven’t explored it fully yet, but it looks very interesting. Even during the first few attempts, it already gives you a decent amount of challenge and excitement.
It would also be great to improve the gamepad controls so you could comfortably play from the couch.
Overall, it’s a great game. I wish the developers lots of inspiration and patience as they continue working on future updates!
I wanted to like this game but its just not fun the Ui and 2d work is great but 3d is a lacking and its all around confusing could be good with some updates

With friends and the defense system expanded on could be such a fun game eventually you could even do team battles 3v3 attackers vs defenders.
skill tree to work towards (move speed) (throw distance). Definitely see potential here enjoyed what I saw so far!
