The police ease off

• One kill is two stars now, whatever you do it with. A second one is three. It used to be
  three stars straight away, and four with a pistol.
• Fewer officers: a smaller patrol, fewer sent per star, and fewer of them carry a gun.
• Police gunfire hurts less: it takes five hits to put you down, not three.
• Officers go down faster: five punches instead of seven.
• Losing them is quicker: get out of sight and your stars start dropping sooner. Rolling away
  on a skateboard is slower, though; getting off and hiding is the quick way out.

Payphones

• You have to stay on the line for a few seconds. If you get seen, hit, or walk off, the call drops
   and you aren't charged.
• Each call in the same hour costs double the last.
• While you're wanted, the minimap shows the nearest phone.

New training

• Street Smarts: police give up the search sooner.
• Low Profile: witnesses have to be closer to describe you, and remember less.
• Deep Pockets: you lose less cash when you're busted or knocked out.

The streets

• Real street furniture: fire hydrants that look like hydrants, bins, newspaper boxes,
  mailboxes, parking meters, bollards and planters.
• Street trees and bus stops.
• A richer city: colours are a little more saturated, with a touch more contrast.
• Venue doors are solid: no more walking through them.

Skating

• The board follows the ground: it tilts over kerbs and slopes. Downhill rolls faster, uphill
  slows you.
• The wheels spin.
• The ollie pops the nose up.
• Holding back drags a foot to brake.
• The rider actually looks like a skater: feet flat on the deck, soft knees, a back that
  rounds over the board as you pick up speed, a proper crouch, hips that open when you push, and
  both feet turning to push.
• Other players' boards now lean into their turns.

Fixes

• The slot machines and roulette tables can be heard properly again.
• Slot coins no longer clatter loudly across the casino, and a jackpot is no longer heard streets
   away.
• Your feet no longer sink into the paving in the parks, or into the spawn pad.
• A holstered pistol or knife stays on your leg when you run, instead of floating beside you.
• The skateboard's grip tape covers the whole deck.
