Hit level 35 and you can now throw it all away, on purpose, for a badge everyone can see and a faster climb every time.
Prestige
- At level 35, open Esc > PRESTIGE and start again from level 1, one prestige higher. There are ten.
- You lose your level, your cash, bank and TerryCoin, everything you own, your training, the laundromat and your bounty.
- You keep your achievements, your records, your job streak and numbered limited items - a Five Star deck stays yours.
- Every prestige, up to P5: +10% experience, +10% cash off the street, and +$50 at the ATM every window.
- A PRESTIGE badge on your nameplate and next to your level, and the whole server hears about it.
- It asks twice, and the second button waits a few seconds. There's no undo.
Better multiplayer
- Other players no longer float above the ground, and their weapons are in their hands instead of on the floor.
- Police are drawn from much further away, so you can see the ones shooting at you.
- More police and more people on the streets when more players are on the server.
Balance
- Nothing unlocks past level 30 any more. The suit and the $1,000 roulette table are level 30, and Fitness, Toughness and Deep Pockets ranks come sooner.
- The high-limit blackjack table opens at level 20 (was 25).
- The ATM limit grows $10 a level (was $4): $140 at level 10, $340 at level 30.
- Bribes at the payphone cost 5% more per level. They start cheap again after a prestige.
Skateboard
- The board's top speed grows with your Fitness and your clothes, so it always beats running.
- After the tutorial, the next goal now points you at the skateboard at level 10.
Clothes
- Hats, glasses, headphones and jewellery from your Steam avatar no longer show through what you buy.
- One item each on your head, face, eyes, neck and wrist. Putting on a new one takes the old one off.
Also
- The Q menu can hide just your own nameplate.
