I have some general concerns about the game itself actually. From what I understand, the traditional workshop system has been removed and replaced by a system where everything is directly integrated into the spawn menu. The idea seems to be making things more convenient for players, avoiding long download times before starting a game. While this may sound good on paper, I personally find that, it actually sucks. With the old Garry's Mod workshop, creators could include images, descriptions, and even videos for their content. This made it much easier to understand what you were downloading or spawning. Now, it often feels unclear what you are actually adding into your game, slops or not. In addition, the ability to review, rate, and support creators through the workshop was a major strength that now seems to be missing... Also, How are we now going to create our own tools for the tool menu ? How are we going to change our own playermodels like in Gmod ? How are we going to modify the animations ? Decals for NPCs when they bleed ? There is SOOO much things that feels unfinished right now or that are missing and that's fine for some things, i mean i know how gmod worked , i have like 10K hours on it , i know that it aged like fine wine and i hope this game will too ! But for now I just can't recommend it and i'm quite worried about the fact that there is no workshop because i feel like the game now offers fewer possibilities, and that this will only become more noticeable over time... We should be able to customize our entire game just like in Gmod, that was so cool !
