this is one of the games that shows the promise and the potential sandbox has not only as a platform but as a game engine, the art style (while yes, has been done a lot) feels super unique, everything the dev (or devs) have done with the PSX art style really makes the game feel like its own thing.
for a roguelike i think its pretty unique, i've never really seen one that does anything with the idea of drugs, the only one i can think of is tboi and even that it was super minor.
some feedback for the devs though would be to add a throwing weapons mechanic, if you've heard of it, similar to anger foot, where you can throw a weapon to stun enemies, although in this game maybe limit it to melees only, give any melee's thrown an insta kill on hit BUT it takes damage, i'm think two bars of durability seems fair.
other then that ya pretty solid, will def be returning to play, only reason i didn't play for longer (at the time of writing i've only played like 20 mins) is because i had stuff to do IRL, otherwise probably would have played for a few hours
