The game feels polished, with no bugs. But what’s polished here is pretty basic, so the gameplay lacks depth. It's so simple that by level three, you start wondering what the point of it all is.
I’d prefer to see mechanics that add real risk rather than upgrade mechanics for the sake of upgrades.
At the very least, removing the hints that pinpoint the right conveyor and cutting the total box count by about four times would make the gameplay feel tense rather than monotonous.
Horror elements could make it incredible altogether: killing dumb rats, jump scares, or the sound of a box hinting at what's inside (so you know to throw away something dangerous, like a ticking bomb).
There are tons of ways to improve the game, but the developer played it way too safe just to keep workload manageable and ensure the game actually launched. But that’s exactly how you want to see indie games, packed with crazy ideas, even if they're unfinished or unpolished.
I’m not usually a fan of this genre, but it gave me a fresh perspective on a few mechanics.
