Terry's Zoo game · 11 Days Ago Recommended
TLDR: Seems like it has the potential to be a pretty fun game. I think there are some minor UI improvements to be made and perhaps changes to the onboarding pacing, although my gripes are opinionated. The graphics are pretty mid especially when compared to the performance. It has good sound. I'm overall interested in seeing where it goes. It's worth giving a shot and seeing if it's a fit for you. I wrote a down my first impressions as I played: First impressions: - The music is too loud. I find it reasonable at like 1 - 4% volume. Otherwise it's just way too loud. - I'm greeted by 4 different panels which all look similar. I'm not sure where to put my eyes or what to focus on. The UI is dominating the screen. - I think it immediately told me to make a path before showing me the controls. I'm not sure if things are showing out of order, but it was immediately showing me the next objective maybe? There's a lot of information packed into the objectives which is great, but I feel like it's creating fatigue. - There's a counterstrike case opening mechanic for earning animals. I'm not sure what the value is in that and my first instinct was to immediately skip it, but I don't think I can. - So far with 2 animals and a few human characters my game is maintaining about 125 fps with an RTX 4070 ti super in 1440p. The graphics don't seem that intensive so I would expect a bit more. - The sound effects for the game are nice and fit well. - I think the challenges might be introduced too early on? I feel like I haven't had a chance to take advantage of all the game mechanics on my main plot and now I don't want to step away from that just yet. I'm now at a point where I'm guided to do a challenge, but challenges feel optional. I just want to play the main game. - Icons look AI generated for the animals. Some of the art feels like it doesn't really match. Maybe it's not, but either way it doesn't really fit in my opinion. Seems like there's some clashing art styles.

Lots of value here! I have minimal experience making music and found this easy to get involved with. I will be most likely using this to make some music in my own game! Love it!

The game is pretty fun. It feels great to visually see your progression through the tiers. The UI layout is pretty confusing at times. It's not very intuitive.

Wall Destroyer | SEASON 2! game · 4 Months Ago Needs Work
This game rewards power using their idle mechanics and it appears to be the META by design. This game is designed for you to go AFK more than you actually play it.

The core concept of the game is decent. The UI needs some serious work. The track which the notes come down on has no depth. You can't anticpate some of the notes as you can't see too far ahead and it makes the gameplay feel very reactionary. The particles are uninspired and are just basic blocks. It doesn't feel rewarding to get a combo. When playing solo it immediately moves you into a song vote although you're the only one playing. This kinda feels like AI slop or at least an extremely early prototype.
