Full disclosure: I made this game, for the "One More Round" jam.
Dig the Dog is the kind of clicker I love: click the dirt, watch it crack, grab the loot, buy a better pickaxe, dig one more layer. Then one more. By layer 10 you have drill rigs rolling around the pit doing the work for you, and you're crafting bits, treads and coolers for them from the stone, metal and gems you dug up.
There's a small story on top: Uncle Rudy's dog Biscuit dug a hole in the backyard and vanished, and Rudy keeps you company over the radio as you go deeper. The chunk is 60 layers deep and a first dig takes about an hour. When you reach the bottom you can start another round and keep everything you built.
It's a jam game, so it's short and there are rough edges. Your progress saves, and there's a pause menu with volume sliders.
If you try it, I'd love to hear where you got bored, what felt too slow and what felt great. That's what the next update will be built on.
