A brand new course is up in Course Select for a limited time.
Two new holes: REAPER'S REST and GARDEN FIELDS
Times count for the global leaderboard like any other course
Runs are saved as replays
Only available for around 2 weeks, so jump in while it's hot
This one is a feedback test for a new course family, so let me know what feels good or off in there. Your input shapes the next pass.
⚙️ New deadly obstacles
The newer courses are now crawling with hazards:
Spinning saws that ride rails and reset your hole on contact
Launch pads that slam you into the air
Prowling zombies that chase your ball if it gets too close
Pinball bumpers that can save your line or wreck it
Each one behaves a little differently. Feel them out.
🐛 Report a bug from anywhere
You can now flag anything weird straight from the pause menu.
Pause → Report a bug → pick a category → drop a short note
Screenshot is captured automatically and uploaded with your report
Every report lands in my queue and gets read
🏆 Leaderboards cleaned up
Global course standings got a serious cleanup:
Aborted runs no longer poison the boards
Bogus times that snuck onto the top have been wiped
The WR / TOP10 celebration now triggers off the real server result instead of a stale local copy
🎬 Replays line up perfectly
All dynamic obstacles (saws, zombies, launch pads, bumpers) now reset to the same starting state at the beginning of
every run, including replays.
Watching a ghost plays out against the exact same obstacle timing the original runner saw
No more drift between live runs and recorded ones
💬 Chat got polished
A few quality-of-life tweaks on the global chat:
Every message shows a small timestamp at the end of the line
Press Y opens AND focuses the chat box in one go
The "Press Y to chat" hint is bigger and easier to read
🎚️ Power meter, your way
Three styles to pick from in Settings:
Vertical (classic bar above the ball)
Horizontal (flat bar across the screen)
Circular (dial that fills clockwise around the ball)
The change applies live, even mid-charge.
🎛️ Settings that actually work
A bunch of settings finally do what they say:
Invert Mouse Y is wired in
Camera Shake now applies on every shake source (strike, hole sink, missile impact) and defaults to Light for a calmer feel.
Mouse Sensitivity / FOV / Master Volume each gained explicit −/+ buttons so you can dial in a precise value
📰 What's New popup got a rework
The patch-notes popup is now a real dev feed, not a one-shot.
Newest update auto-expands when you arrive in the menu
You can scroll back through every previous update
Click SEE ALL in the news panel anytime to reopen it
🔒 What's not changing
Your unlocked cosmetics (skins / trails / hole FX)
The core gameplay (charge, shoot, sink)
Your past times on the existing per-hole leaderboards

I'm shifting focus to:
Brand new full-length courses (more holes, more variety)
Continued map polish on existing levels
More dynamic obstacles to keep runs fresh
UI rework on the gameplay HUD (clarity, readability, feedback)
Settling the playtest format so feedback actually shapes the next ship
Once those are in a solid place, I'll start tackling deeper multiplayer features.
