### SEAMLESS WORLD

The game now runs on a **single persistent scene**. Step through a portal and the world transforms around you — music keeps playing, your match state stays intact, and transitions are instant.

**Map Codes** — Press **Q** to open the Level Code panel. Type a code to teleport anywhere:
- **LOBBY** — Return to the Portal Room
- **PVP** — Jump into the PvP Arena
- **RANGE** — Shooting Range / Target Practice
- **PROC** — Generate a random parkour course
- **PROC-5** — Generate at difficulty 5 (1-10 scale)
- **DAILY** — Today's Daily Challenge

During an active PvP match, teleporting is disabled — you have to fight it out.

### MOVEMENT OVERHAUL

Every parkour move has been refined for tighter, more responsive control:

- **Wall Running** — Momentum-based climb height. Sprint fast, climb high. The faster you approach, the higher you go.
- **Tic-Tac Wall Jumping** — Jump between parallel walls with clean collision. No more clipping through walls on either side.
- **Crouch Sliding** — Reduced deceleration for longer, faster slides. Higher speed cap (800 u/s). Boost on initiation.
- **Air-to-Slide** — Press crouch while airborne. If you have forward momentum when you land, you'll seamlessly transition into a slide — and take 50% less fall damage. A proper parkour roll.
- **Ramp Physics** — Run up and down ramps smoothly. No more hovering, no more phantom fall damage. Standing still on a ramp? You stay still.
- **Ceiling Collision** — Jump into a ceiling and you bonk back down. No more clipping into geometry from below.
- **Overhang Traverse** — Wall running toward a jutting ledge? Your character leaps past it and continues climbing. Assassin's Creed style.

### PROCEDURAL PARKOUR COURSES

Randomly generated parkour obstacle courses with 13 segment types: ground runs, wall climbs, gap jumps, platforms, vault runs, tic-tac shafts, ceiling slides, hazard sprints, launch pads, boost runs, conveyors, ziplines, and moving obstacles.

**New in this update:**
- **Checkpoint Gates** — Pass through all gates to unlock the exit. Counter shows your progress: "GATES: 3/5". Gate positions randomize per level seed.
- **5-Second Countdown** — Every run starts with a freeze + countdown. 5... 4... 3... 2... 1... **START!** Fair starts for ghost racing.
- **Run History** — Your last 5 procedural runs are saved with replayable codes (e.g., PROC-3-847291). Open the Level Code panel to see them. Press ★ to save a run permanently — unsaved runs expire after 3 days.
- **Ghost Racing** — Complete a course and your ghost is saved. Replay the same seed and race against your personal best — a translucent blue figure running your previous path.
- **Difficulty Constraints** — Levels are more consistent. Minimum ground runs between hard segments, max consecutive challenges, gap widths scaled to difficulty.
- **Death Respawn** — Dying on a procedural course sends you back to the start. No checkpointing to the middle.
- **Per-Difficulty Music** — Chill tracks for easy levels, intense beats for nightmares.

### COMBAT

- **Shuriken Rebalance** — Dramatically reduced gravity drop (~82% less). Shurikens fly flatter and further, tracking much closer to your crosshair. Throw distance and accuracy are massively improved.
- **Crosshair** — Bigger default size (32px), black outline for visibility against any background. New color option: black. Outline toggle in settings.
- **Crosshair Settings** (Press **B**) — Cleaned up UI with size/thickness/gap/opacity sliders, style presets, outline toggle.

### UI REDESIGN

The entire interface has been rebuilt with a **graffiti/90s street** aesthetic:

- **Impact font**, sharp corners, hard drop shadows, hot pink + cyan + lime accents
- **Combo Panel** — Always visible. Shows your current chain count, speed, last move, and peak speed. Wall run stamina bar integrated — watch it drain as you climb.
- **Music Controls** — Press **X** for Controls. Skip or go back tracks right from the controls panel. Current track name displayed.
- **"PRESS X FOR CONTROLS"** — Subtle hint at bottom-right so new players always know how to find help.
- **Target Practice** — Full graffiti restyle with speedrun timer, gate counter, and cleaner layout.
- **Mission Complete** — Restyled from the old yellow/gold theme to match the new aesthetic.
- **Ammo Display** — Fixed width, no more resizing when switching weapons.
- **Map Code Panel** — Color-coded hints, recent run history, save/replay buttons.

### SPEEDRUN COURSE (NEW)

A dedicated speed run course with 12 targets, moving obstacles, ramps, parkour challenges, and a completion timer. Load it from the portal room or type a map code.

- **Waiting Room + Target Practice** — Opening one panel closes the other. No more overlapping UI.
- **Portal Room** — Always accessible via LOBBY map code.
- **PvP Match Lock** — Can't escape a match with map codes or portals.
- **Sound System** — Menu and gameplay music merged into one shuffled playlist. Seamless crossfading between tracks.

### KNOWN ISSUES

- System cursor visible during gameplay (S&BOX engine limitation)
- PvP arena uses auto-centering for its rotated prefab — works but ideally needs re-authoring
- Some new S&BOX clothing items may show as orange ERROR blocks if not cached locally
