A few additions, and changes

0.3.1 is a small polish patch sitting on top of The Relationships Update. Mostly tightening what's already there, not adding loads of new stuff although you can pick a theme now.

The game nudges you when you've been in the same job for ages or never gone on a date, because playtest data showed people getting stuck doing both. Couple of real bugs fixed. Four new events to keep the early years from feeling repeated.

  • Added Light, Dark, Classic, and High Contrast theme options, which can be selected in the Settings

  • Added a career salary line to your Profile, showing how your pay compares to another role you'd qualify for

  • Added postgraduate study. Re-enrol at university in a subject you already hold to go up to a Master's, then a Doctorate

  • Added 4 new events

  • Added a "Better job available" icon to the top bar that appears when a better role on your career lane is available

  • Asking a friend to repay an old debt now factors in the friend's traits

  • The Finances "This year" ledger consolidates repeat line items

  • Tweaked romance factors so you have a better chance of getting with your boss

  • An honest character no longer sees the dishonest option on events like pocketing a found wallet or lying to your boss about job-hunting

Fixed

  • Free activities (going for a hike, looking for a partner) are no longer locked out when your cash is negative

  • Children conceived with an ex now actually announce themselves, even when the relationship ended before the birth
