Pay for Russian

Hello.

I am writing to you with a serious problem that I encountered when trying to withdraw my earned funds. Currently, the system does not allow you to link a Russian phone number, and there is also no way to withdraw funds to a Russian bank account.

This is an extremely sensitive issue for me. The actual lack of available withdrawal methods puts me in a very difficult position.

I understand that the restrictions may be related to external circumstances, but please consider offering alternative payment options for users from Russia.

I kindly ask you not to ignore this issue and give a comment on this situation:
— is it planned to restore the possibility of withdrawal;
 — Are there alternative payment methods?;
 — whether there are temporary solutions for current users.

You can withdraw money through Kazakhstan; it's not a big problem to implement.

Why discuss politics and bring up the subject, if initially I didn't even write a word about it? Are you upset about something? 

why is everyone becoming political out of nowhere?!?? i get that political issues caused this to happen, but we can put that aside and try helping the guy, not just make his situation worse, poor dude just wants his playfund money and you guys are dogging on his situation

Yeah, I hope the creator finds a seperate way, i've heard that russias been cracking down on crypto payments and other stuff recently so hope the poster can find a seperate way to convert and get their deserved money

This is not up to Facepunch or Tipalti.
The best way to send playfund to Russia is through a trusted friend that receives it, then sends it to you via crypto.
There used to be some more legit apps/websites that would do it without crypto, but eventually even those stopped offering it to Russia.

I'm wondering even if Facepunch wanted to spend resources trying to find an alternative for Russians, what are even the options? Does Valve even pay out Russians anymore or did they also stop once they got cut off from the western world for invading Ukraine?

valve stopped paying into bank accounts located in Russia when the sanctions hit against financial institutions. Despite this Russian UGC creators just set up bank accounts in neighbouring countries, either in a family or friends name or falsifying information. 

Why not let us buy s&box skins with money earned from Play fund? That would partly fix the issue.

Imagine owner of darkrp with his 50k bucks of playfund buying directly from the store. 2+2 =4 now think if it’s healthy for the market. For you russian, yes it’s cool because you would evade bank transfers and for others not really. 

The cosmetics at the end of the day are Steam items that end up in your inventory, so there's probably an agreement in the partner terms that says you can't sell items outside of Steam as that would mean going around their 30% fee.
