It's our intention for s&box to be cross-platform, a native Linux client is a good start.

as a Linux user wanting to make games with the editor, i'd go beyond glazing this game if s&box was native

Adding Linux support is absolutely must-have.
Especially considering the recent increase in users moving from Windows to Linux distros

Unity even has a Linux client, so it would be great if s&box did too.

The main game not having a Linux Native client isn't necessarily an issue for me, but the editor is more difficult to work with because it doesn't have a native version.

Bought the game and the editor. Now I will wait until it works on Linux. I have not used Microslop and I do not intend to. Besides I was really hyped for this release.

The Editor can be quite a hassle to work with on Linux so a native client would be super cool!!!
Game itself works super well with Proton but it'd still be nice to have a native option also! :)

I had to switch to Windows to use the s&box editor properly. I'm really looking forward to the release of the native version.

Like the guy above me, I'm having to use Windows to use the editor. I would be so grateful if I could do dev on my preferred platform, but regardless, enjoying the tools so far.
