It’s great to see that reviews are being taken into account and that updates seem to come quickly.
However, the placement zone for putting a book on the shelf feels too small. Sometimes, even when standing directly in front of the shelf, you still have to move around and “search” for the exact spot to place the book. Making that interaction area a bit larger would make the system feel much smoother and less frustrating.

the latest update is pretty good! i like the direction this is going in.
bugs:
- i am inexplicably missing one book, all the shelves are full except for one slot and the missing book is nowhere to be found. there needs to be a way to replenish a missing book
feature suggestions:
- changing the pickup system so that books on the ground are prioritized based on the nearest book, and the player doesn't have to look directly at books on the ground to pick them up
- adding other things to do during downtime (NO GAMBLING PLEASE)
