One of the upcoming features is a first-person preview mode.

You will be able to walk around, inspect rooms at player scale, and interact with objects. This should make it much easier to feel how a building actually plays, not just how it looks from the editor.

WIP video enjoy !
The next Architect update will let you publish your own buildings to the Steam Workshop.
You may have Already seen the "Community" tab, I just have to solve the default resource pack being stored in the cloud instead of it being part of the game. this should also massively reduce the initial download !

You will be able to share your creations with other players, browse what the community has made, and even fork other people’s buildings to make your own version. This should make it much easier to build on great ideas and keep improving designs together.

The goal is to let other games load Architect buildings, and allow you to create custom asset packs. Some asset packs already exist internally, like GTA V and SmallBox, With the SDK you will be able to make your own.

Also we store metadata on which packs are used for a building, so you can filter which architectures can be used in YOUR game !

Rooftops will finally get attention.

There are still some design challenges here. I want rooftops to be fully procedural, Its harder then giving you manual control, but I think its easier for the end-user.

With some hopeful changes from facepunch it should become possible to create your own rooftop generators with the SDK. but this will be a few months away.

This is still a month+ out but cool complex roof generation type as example:

Yes, multiple floors are planned !

The backend already supports them, but there is still a lot of work to be completed before they can be enabled properly.

In the previous update I reworked the rendering and update code,
With those changes I will only update what has changed(often called dirty flag pattern)

These changes has introduced a bunch of errors with data not being updated or being reorded, im collecting data on all those edge cases and will fix them over time. The workflow here is that when i can reproduce this I will add unit tests to catch this issue going forward.
Thank you for anyone that has played it, gave me feedback :) This project wouldn't exist without yall.

This is the current direction for the Coming updates, focus on sharing your creations and allowing you to bring them with you to any game that wants to use it !

I would encourage you to use the forums of the game to leave feedback, as that will help me steer this project

For anyone that made it this far... there are some features/tools that can be enabled only trough console type HB_ to find the full list ;)
