Very polished game! The music is pretty good

Really cool and original concept, very little to fault here and all in all a decent puzzle game with fun gameplay and brilliant soundtrack. The only fault is some of the quicktimes, especially the offense one, go by way too quick but maybe I'm just a noob idk, but yeah great game.

Amazing concept. But even with the indepth tutorial a bit overwhleming in the begining. Maybe it would be smarter to itnroduce a player to the mechanics one by one. Rather tha nexplaining eveything up front. E.g. tutorial is a fight: !st round you only have the basic block placing, 2nd Round adds defend events, 3rd Round attack ...

Good progression and replayability! Fun to play.

Honestly, out of all the games in the jam, this is one of the few that has such a strong and memorable universe. The atmosphere is amazing, and the music is excellent, especially the track used in the trailer. I absolutely love it!

This is probably one of the best games on s&box so far. I dig into it, but i feel like playing 6 knockouts without needing to rotate any piece at all. Nominated!

Very enjoyable, easy to jump into. I liked the setting that removed the background, smart choice.

Unique spin on tetris gameplay that makes you feel like you're at a robot rave. The tutorial is quite in-depth, including video tutorials that give a good explanation of the controls and mechanics. However, it was difficult to get a handle on all the information at first and the rounds felt much quicker than I think they should be. I liked the amount of upgrades and variety for it being a jam game. Also, the vibes were there with the audio design and the art style. Overall, great game!

Very original! I liked the sound design!

Pros: This game has an impressive amount of depth for the relatively short time frame in which it was developed. I like that I was shown the ropes of how each mechanic worked by having to actually execute tasks. The creator could have easily thrown a video or slideshow-esque tutorial at the player, but this would not have been engaging or effective in teaching how to play. The game takes very few rounds to get in the flow of it, which contributes to quick improvement and the realization that there exists a high level of skill expression. The area scroll speed is well-tuned to allow the player to feel engaged, and even frantic at some points, but not helpless. The presence of a Robot that persists through runs with other rogue-like elements significantly elevates the experience for something that could have been a low quality flash game. I really like the audio and sound design, and, combined with the interesting graphics and visual assets, it creates a unique experience that will have me coming back for more. Cons: While there is significant depth to this game, it feels slightly front-loaded. The player may feel less overwhelmed if certain game mechanics are introduced a bit later into the game, after the player has a few knockouts under their belt. However, it does not take long to feel out the game loop, so this is a minor concern.

BLOCKEM continues to entertain with new updates incorporating many new features that have culminated into a balanced game. There are lots of interesting ways to customize your character and that include progressive software upgrades as you play through the game. If you want a rouge like experience that has a lot of fun and unique replayability than this is a game you should be playing.
