Endless hordes vs 4 brave warriors
The Horde Is Coming TD is a 1-4 player co-op tower defense where you fight alongside the towers you build.
Pick a weapon, bring your towers and try to hold the gate while the waves keep getting larger. Later on you can have 10,000 enemies on the map at once, with the biggest waves reaching around 30,000.
Build and aim your towers
Placing a tower is not just about where you put it. You also choose which way it faces and how wide its firing cone is.
A wide cone covers more ground. A narrow one puts more fire into a single lane, but anything coming from the side becomes somebody else's problem.
There are Watchtowers, Cannons, Repeaters, Marksman's Perches, Frost Obelisks and Rally Banners, each with different upgrade paths during the run.
Fight them yourself
While the towers handle the lanes, you move around the map with your own weapon and help wherever things are starting to fall apart.
Use a bow, throwing knives, fireballs, a grimoire or a storm rod. Attacks are automatic, so most of your attention goes into positioning, dodging and using skills like Barrage, Frost Nova or Tar Pit when they actually matter.
Pick your loadout
There are no fixed classes. Before the run you choose weapons, skills, towers and a specialization.
Between runs you spend what you earned on a 100+ node upgrade tree, unlocking new towers, weapons, skills and more loadout options.
One more round?
After every wave the team gets time to build, upgrade and move things around. Nothing starts automatically by default. The next wave begins when everyone is ready.
See how far you can get, bank what you earned and try again with a better setup.
1-4 players. Fully playable solo.
Made for S&box Game Jam Three: One More Round.
Still WIP, more content and polish will come in the upcoming patches.
