At first it was pretty boring but eventually I did get addicted to the number go up.
At it's core, this game is just "click the highlighted box". I think it needs some way to better visualize the number-go-up aspect so you can feel a sense of growth and accomplishment. I get that this is an idle game but it's missing something that makes it register in your mind that this is an IDLE game and not something that requires strategy or really any thought at all.
Kinda neat, promising enough for me to unlock everything. Automation comes pretty late, kinda towards the end when you don't really need it and you're already tired of clicking the same upgrades over and over.
An okay idle though, I'll keep an eye on it for some updates later.
Nice simple idle game, Needs some work for example never unlocked automation feature because its timegated longer than it takes to acend so you never unlock it. Please make automation of lvling trees a big thing in comming patches and once you unlock automation you unlock new things so its a nice loop that you eventually automate the new stuff you unlock rince repeat.
I love what the developer has going so far and he has recently updated as of this review so it is looking more than promising. There is totally something to be had here for an idle game and recommend it highly!
It's a solid concept. You have multiple resources and the gameplay is figuring out the most efficient upgrades from your current choices.
// UPDATE: Removed most of my other criticism as it's much better now. There are still places where you have to click a bit too much, like when you farm prestige, but it seems like the game is called idler so clearly I'm playing it wrong by trying to manually upgrade everything too fast.
